sing sing. il corpo di pompei
From finds to life, two thousand years ago as today: the exhibition "Sing Sing. The body of Pompeii" is a photographic project that Luigi Spina dedicates to the now legendary deposits in the attics of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.
Here the best senior photographer of 2020 according to Artribune has found unique objects, which tell the daily dimension of the ancient inhabitants of Campania in Roman times: bronze sculptures, candelabra, oil lamps, pottery, objects for personal use, furnishings of ancient domus are integrated, thus, in a suggestive path of "anastylosis". With this term, in archeology, we mean the reconstruction of an ancient structure through the recomposition of the original pieces.
