Lucio Dalla. Il sogno di essere napoletano
An exhibition-event created to celebrate the 80th birthday of the great Bolognese singer and composer, which focuses on the artist's strong relationship with the Neapolitan city. Naples, with its thousand faces and colors - as well as the Sorrento peninsula - was a great source of inspiration for Dalla indeed, and it is here that one of his most famous and loved song, Caruso, came to life. The melody, as well as the text, are a real ode to love, a statement as heartfelt as it is spontaneous that the singer turns to the entire Neapolitan universe.
A world that Dalla felt intimately "flowing through his veins" - as the sing song - to the point of declaring "Next time I want to be born here, to be actually Neapolitan, not just adopted". The exhibition thus re-proposes, through documents, photos, memorabilia of the artist - his rich collection of hats is inevitable - the strong and passionate link of the artist with music and with the city of Naples.
